Digital Heritage Project

The project aims to digitally recreate a part of the Singapore History in a Virtual Reality Environment.

The Peranakan culture has been chosen to showcase Singapore's unique blend of multicultural heritage.

The goal is to provide new and innovative ways for interaction within this heritage environment.

Methods

Currently the project is in the implementation phase of the 3D modeling, animation and development of the calligraphy brush as an interaction tool calligraphy brush as an interaction tool.

A Virtual Tour Guide is being developed to walk visitors through the different exhibits and provide an interactive learning experience.

The Chinese Calligraphy brush is being developed as a tool for Chinese character recognition and navigate visitors through the virtual environment.
