Project Motivation
Traffic users in Singapore are guided by precise road signs on the expressway. Given its first time Singapore is building its longest underground expressway, the Land Transport Authority requested for a stimulated virtual environment to test out motorists' reactions to varying road conditions before the actual development of the tunnel.
Studies and data collected from volunteer motorists aided a better tunnel planning, suitable lighting conditions and placement of signs. |
